Week 6 Table Watch: SRG's perfect run ends as the top three lock in Playoffs spots
Week 6 of the MPL Malaysia Season 17 Regular Season saw SRG suffer their first loss since 1 November 2024, ending a long unbeaten run and briefly exposing vulnerability in their campaign. SRG responded with a strong rebound on Day 3 by Muhammad Danish Fitri "Unii" Razman (EXP Laner), staying atop the standings despite a recent lineup change. The week's standout result came from AC Esports (AC), who handed SRG their defeat, and Team Vamos (VMS), who had a flawless weekend with wins over Team Rey (TR) and RRQ TORA (RRQ)—both strong performers in the first leg of the Regular Season. Invictus Gaming (iG) maintained consistent form throughout the split to secure a Playoff spot, joining SRG and TR as the first three teams to officially qualify for the Playoffs. With only three slots remaining and two weeks left in the Regular Season, every result now carries significant weight as the race for the Playoffs intensifies.
